Snow Labs

Build · Prototype · Ship

An idea lab for concepts born in-house and select outside submissions. We prototype fast, build with feedback, and ship products we believe deserve to exist.

Where Ideas
Become Reality

Snow Labs is an idea lab dedicated to turning promising concepts into real products. Some start inside the company. Others come from outside submitters whose ideas we choose to build. In every case we brainstorm hard, prototype fast, gather feedback, and ship with intention. When we take on an external submission, the submitter stays involved in the feedback process, while Snow Labs retains final say on features, pricing, and long-term maintenance. Accepted submissions always include an agreed fair-market share of project revenue for the lifetime of the product.

Idea Intake

Great products can start on our whiteboard or arrive through an outside submission. We pressure-test raw concepts, sharpen the strongest ones, and decide which ideas are worth turning into real products.

Lab Portfolio

Kismet, StatBook, and MyPace reflect how Snow Labs operates: we build in-house, iterate quickly, and stay selective about what earns time, focus, and a permanent place in the lab.

Revenue-Aligned Builds

When we accept an external idea, the original submitter stays close to the feedback loop while Snow Labs keeps final authority over features, pricing, and maintenance. Every accepted submission includes an agreed fair-market revenue share for the life of the project.

Built in the Lab

These are products Snow Labs chose to build in-house, whether the spark started internally or came from a submission we believed in. We prototype fast, get real feedback, iterate hard, and commit only to the ideas that earn a place in the lab.

Kismet Coffee Roasters

A complete e-commerce experience for specialty coffee

Custom-built headless e-commerce platform replacing a legacy Square Online store. Features real-time inventory, subscription management, secure card payments, and a mobile-first design that captures the warmth of the Kismet brand.

APPROACH

Rapid prototype of the storefront in under two weeks, iterated on checkout UX with real barista feedback, and shipped a production site that outperforms the original in every metric.

StatBook

Play-by-play stat tracking for multi-sport teams

Cross-platform stat tracker enabling coaches and statisticians to record, analyze, and export game statistics in real time. Built with a pluggable sport engine architecture supporting volleyball, baseball, and softball.

APPROACH

Started from a volleyball-only prototype, then designed a sport-agnostic plugin architecture. Each new sport plugs in without touching core logic — baseball was added in days, not weeks.

MyPace

Health & wellness tracking designed for older adults

Cross-platform mobile app that makes nutrition, exercise, and walking program tracking simple and accessible. Built with a focus on usability — large text, clear navigation, and minimal cognitive load for older adult users.

APPROACH

Prototyped the core loop (log a meal, track a walk) in days, tested with real users in the target demographic, then iterated on font sizes, tap targets, and information density until the experience felt effortless.

From Concept to Code

Speed matters, but selection matters too. We prototype rapidly, iterate relentlessly, and ship with confidence only when an idea earns it. Every product in the lab follows this rhythm.

01

Ideate

brainstorm()

The best ideas can come from inside Snow Labs or from an outside submission. We stress-test the concept, explore the opportunity, and decide whether it fits the lab.

02

Prototype

build.fast()

Once we commit, we move fast. Working prototypes emerge within days, not months. We leverage the best tools available — including the latest AI tooling for agentic development — to compress iteration cycles and make the idea tangible quickly.

03

Iterate

refine(feedback)

Real users, real feedback, real improvements. If the product began as an external submission, the original submitter stays close to the loop while we refine what works and cut what doesn't.

04

Ship

deploy(prod)

We ship products built to last. Snow Labs keeps the final call on roadmap, pricing, and maintenance so the product stays coherent, and accepted outside submissions participate through a fair-market revenue share agreed for the life of the project.

Submit an Idea

Have an idea that belongs in the lab? Send it our way. If Snow Labs decides to build it, you'll stay involved through the feedback process, you'll have a fair-market revenue share agreed up front, and Snow Labs will keep final authority on features, pricing, and maintenance.

Accepted submissions become Snow Labs products. We welcome close feedback from the original submitter, but roadmap, pricing, and maintenance decisions stay with Snow Labs so the product can remain focused and sustainable.
